This course is perfect for home bakers or beginning professionals who would like to expand their skills and understanding.
We will focus on:
- How ingredients and temperature serve a specific purpose, are interlocked and dependent upon each other
- Correct mixing, rolling, handling and baking of pie dough and how these basic techniques help you achieve a uniform, flakey crust and delicious pie
- How to make different pie tops including lattice, vented and rustic open faced and their purpose using different pie fillings
