We will provide you with a delicious vanilla cake with dark chocolate mousse filling.
Pastry Chef Beth Karam-Putt will walk you through proper icing technique to create a very smooth butter cream icing, then she will offer you step-by-step instruction on how to make your own dramatic and realistic sugar paste bow ~ You will learn how to make your own sugar paste, superior to store bought for making thin, life-like sugar bows! Then you will go through the process of proper storage, handling and skills in working with sugar paste.

As a classically trained Pastry Chef for 32 years, Beth does not skimp on instruction and will teach you, in depth, not only the creativity of baking & cake decorating but understanding what really works and most importantly, why it works! Together, let's cut through all the misinformation on baking and cake decorating and allow us to offer you direct, concise hands-on instruction. There will also be plenty of time available for questions and answers throughout class time.
This price includes your own decorated cake to take home for your family and friends to enjoy, an extra sugar bow, cake and gum paste recipes and the knowledge to make this adorable cake on your own!
Class size is limited, therefore it will be offered on a first come- first served basis.
