Spring and Summer are just around the corner! Sweet Sisters can’t think of a better way to celebrate
than by creating and baking delicious, fresh baked tarts!
In this class you will walk through, hands-on, the craft of making, rolling and baking the perfect, buttery tart crust. Chef Beth Karam-Putt will then teach you successful techniques in making 2 very popular tarts that she has used throughout her 30 year career span. You will be making a rich dark chocolate cream tart topped with creamy salted caramel and a classic yet beautifully presented apple custard tart. Her instruction will teach you how to prepare and cut fruit properly for baking as well as stove top cooking techniques for custard style fillings and house made caramel.
Saturday, February 27, 2016 from 2:00 - 5:00PM
There will also be plenty of time available for questions and answers throughout the class time.
The results of your day will include 2 beautiful and delicious 9” tarts for you to take home (as well as the dough you will be making in class for future use) to share with family and friends!
Class size is limited, therefore it will be offered on a first come- first served basis.
